What if every great community had a coach in residence?
Roaming Coaches places experienced executive, leadership, and life-transition coaches inside exceptional communities for residencies of four weeks or longer. Not a speaker who visits for an afternoon. A trusted presence who becomes part of the life of the community.
More than a visiting expert
A meaningful coaching relationship rarely begins and ends in a conference room. Roaming Coaches creates multi-week residencies that allow experienced coaches to become familiar, accessible members of a community.
Over four weeks or longer, conversations unfold through private sessions, office hours, shared meals, walks, small groups, and everyday moments. The coach has time to understand the community. The community has time to build trust.
This is not therapy, and it is not a one-day motivational event. It is thoughtful coaching embedded where life is already happening.
The process
How it works
- 01
Tell us about your community
Share who gathers there, what residents or members are navigating, what kind of support would add value, and what you hope the residency creates.
- 02
Design the residency
Together, define duration, coach profile, accommodations, weekly availability, community programming, private-session model, responsibilities, and budget.
- 03
Meet the right coaches
We introduce a small number of experienced coaches selected for background, specialty, temperament, travel availability, and fit with your community.
- 04
Welcome your Coach in Residence
The selected coach joins the community for at least four weeks, becomes a familiar presence, and delivers the agreed mix of private coaching, office hours, group conversations, workshops, and community participation.
Some relationships continue through seasonal returns, virtual coaching, or longer-term residencies.
Why a residency
Why a residency
- Trust takes time
- Residents are more likely to engage when a coach is present long enough to become known rather than introduced once.
- Coaching becomes accessible
- People can begin with an office hour, a walk, or an informal conversation instead of committing immediately to a formal coaching program.
- The community grows stronger
- A Coach in Residence supports not only individuals but also belonging, connection, reflection, and more meaningful community life.
- The experience becomes distinctive
- Well-designed communities already invest in physical amenities. A Coach in Residence adds a human amenity centered on clarity, transition, and personal growth.
Where a residency fits
Six kinds of community.
The coastal residential community
Residents include entrepreneurs, remote executives, retirees, and families navigating major life changes. The setting is beautiful, but meaningful support is mostly left to chance.
A life-transition and executive coach spends eight weeks in the community, offering private sessions, weekly walking office hours, two monthly conversations, and informal participation in community life.
Residents gain access to a trusted thinking partner, while the community adds an amenity built around human connection rather than infrastructure.
The wellness destination
Guests arrive seeking rest, clarity, and a reset, but many leave without translating insight into decisions or sustainable changes.
A Coach in Residence supports guests through confidential coaching, integration conversations, transition planning, and small groups alongside existing wellness programming.
The destination extends its promise from temporary restoration to meaningful reflection and action.
The founder community
Founders are surrounded by tactical business advice but have few places to speak honestly about identity, pressure, leadership, relationships, and what success is costing them.
An experienced founder coach offers individual coaching, founder circles, leadership office hours, and walking conversations over six weeks.
Members receive support that goes beyond pitch decks, metrics, and operating plans.
The active adult or retirement community
Residents may be navigating retirement, business exits, purpose, relationships, health changes, caregiving, and identity after a demanding career.
A transition coach spends a season in the community, facilitating private conversations, purpose workshops, small groups, and informal gatherings.
Residents receive thoughtful support for a chapter that is often treated as a lifestyle change rather than a profound life transition.
The private club or membership community
Members have access to dining, recreation, wellness, and professional networks, but personal and leadership coaching remains separate from the community experience.
An executive and life-transition coach holds weekly office hours, member sessions, leadership conversations, and curated events over eight to twelve weeks.
The club offers a more personal and relevant form of member support.
The coworking or coliving community
Members are geographically mobile and professionally ambitious, but often experience disconnection, uncertainty, burnout, and questions about where they belong.
A Coach in Residence supports members with transition coaching, founder conversations, career clarity, and facilitated peer groups.
The community becomes more than a place to work or stay. It becomes a place where people can think more clearly about what comes next.
For coaches
Experienced coaches. Embedded in community.
Roaming Coaches brings together seasoned executive, founder, leadership, career, wellness, and life-transition coaches who are willing to live within a host community for four weeks or longer. We look for more than credentials. Strong Coaches in Residence combine professional depth with judgment, humility, curiosity, discretion, adaptability, and the ability to become part of a community without making themselves the center of it.
Why Roaming Coaches
Built from experience, transition, and a belief in the power of place.
Roaming Coaches was created by Mark Feinberg, an entrepreneur, executive, and coach who has spent much of his career helping people build businesses, lead through uncertainty, and find clarity during periods of change.
After navigating significant professional and personal transitions of his own, Mark began imagining a different way to deliver coaching: not from a distance, and not through a single workshop, but by becoming part of a community long enough for trust and meaningful conversations to develop.
That idea became Roaming Coaches.
